Hello all,

I'm glad to have found this site as I'm sure I can get a boatload of information from all these divers!

I have only recently started diving but have already completed my advanced PADI course and am now looking to progress further. I am definitely hooked and am looking to progress all the way to instructor level and make diving my career.

I work and live on a cruise ship at the moment which gives me the opportunity to dive in some fantastic places every week, including Cozumel, Grand Cayman & St.Thomas. I'm using the time onboard to learn, log more dives and hopefully find somewhere to train me and employ me!

I have enquired with a few different dive companies as to this possibility but was wondering if anyone out here on scubaboard could direct me to a company or location that they have used.?? Basically I would just like more information and guidance as to what would be the next step.

Any replies gladly received
Thanks
Alex Houghton

Welcome to SB!! :happywave Put us in your favorites and check in often. This is a great place to learn, compare, argue :argue:

Really, after your AOW & Nitrox cards, I'd work on getting experience before I tried additional training...

Hi Alex! Welcome to SB. You will find so many helpful and knowledgeable folks here!

I did my first blue water dives while I was a passenger on a cruise and it was a wonderful way to get a sample of several places before committing to a week-long trip. You are just getting to kick that concept up a notch! :palmtree:
