Just got some natural beeswax, applicable to drysuit BDM zipper?

I’ve bought some very very natural beeswax from a local beekeeper. Very budget compared to some scuba brand as it just cost me for just 4.5 US dollar for 250 gram plus free shipping. But I don’t know if that stuff is same as the scuba brand natural beeswax and can be used on my drysuit zipper. Here are some pictures.
