There is a white board in the bathhouse at Gilboa with people looking for people to dive with.
Or you can always just show up and walk around, always someone looking to go diving

Right. And if worse comes to worst, I have the self-reliant cert, so I can always solo dive. But I prefer to dive with a buddy. And I prefer to know in advance that I'm meeting them at the dive site, so I don't have to walk around asking people.

People get out there smell the sunshine get on the phone converse meet hug go diving and dancing

Hello Everyone,

I recently got my Open Water and Nitrox certifications and am looking for a dive buddy in the Waterford, MI area. I’m interested in diving in local lakes, Ohio quarries, Port Sanilac, and other nearby spots. I just need to get some bottom time and practice my skills.

If you’re interested, please let me know!
Congratulations and hopefully you find a dive buddy here!

Congratulations and lucky you, finding a dive buddy is not always so easy. Moreover, no need for me to tell you diving is addictive, it seems you're already hooked. :rofl3:

Never was there an easier time to communicate or was there

So how did the dive go my arm is not long enough to reach out and I don't have your phone number
