You're back Ozmaniac! ;)

Gald you had a good time.

I dived Bouganville & Osprey reef back in the late 80s, was DM on the Nimrod when it did that sort of thing. We would stay out at Osprey & Bouganville for weeks at a time, flying fresh food & fresh customers in by seaplane and flying back rubbish and parting customers. Saved the slog back to port. We used to raft up with Coralita before she went "off the market". Used to get sucvh luminaries as Ron & Valerie Taylor on board. What a couple of chumps they are.

Would be interested to know how they compare with then, as Bouganville got slammed by a couple of nasty typhoons in the early 90s. Did you see the monster soft coral trees way down the sand chutes at 150ft at Osprey?

Did you take your own gear or rent on the Diversity?

Yep, took all our own gear, and was glad I did. Some of the rental gear they had seemed good but two people had problems with freeflow and BC inflation buttons. I had mine serviced and know my configuration and feel comfortable with it, after all, my life depends on it.
I will say that a schlep dive master in Hawaii turned off my air right before I went in (Lahina divers), I had just turned it on before I suited up, I was the first one in and I went down a few feet trying to suck air, but went back up immediatly , he did apologize, but still  , good thing I wasn't a new diver!!

Hi Caymaniac,
Sounds like a great trip.

Certainly no comparison . . . we'll be out at Lake 16 in the morning. The more the merrier.
