Just got a new SX230. WP-DC42 coming next week.

After being completely happy with the SX210 and taking some of my best photos ever with it, but disappointed that there was never an affordable underwater enclosure, I just picked up the new SX230 and have ordered Canon's own WP-DC42 enclosure. While I have a gopro hd camera for video, I've been wanting to get some still photos which the gopro simply sucks at. I'm looking forward to getting some underwater shots with the 230 next week.

Hey - how did this turn out?
I've been looking at the sx230 or 220 - i'm impressed with the specs, especially of the video. I also shoot a gopro, but not being able to white balance driuves me crazy. i also like that these canons shoot 24p.
anyways, curious to hear how it turned out

Works great. You can see all the photos I've posted from it and some video at Picasa Web Albums - Jak Crow - Underwater Ph.... It actually does excellent video and I've pretty much retired the gopro.
