also one thing to remember is that the microdrive aka MD is a real hardrive in that it has a platter and read write heads , that need a certain gap to operate (thats why for the 10 k feet limit, because after that the air is to thin to operate) but with the pressures of the deep it might be the same because theair is getting compressed so i would be really leary of using one, plus i have heard of alot of stories of MD platters geting scratched or the MD failing outright. plus i would rather lose a 128 or 256 card then 1 GB of pics, but thats because that GB would be a massive $$ if those lost pics were doing to be sold. this is why i by nothing but 128 or 256's MB (i use lexar pro series or ridata cards from a sell in austrailia)
