Just bought my new gear

Hi all, i convinced myself that it would be better to do my OWC with my own gear, so i went ot yesterday and burnt a hole in the old credit card:14:

I decided on the Oceanic Delta 4 FDX-10, Alph 8 octo, Veo 100nx pdc NavCon, and the Oceanic Probe LX BC.
I have my 7mm semi-dry, boots, hood, gloves, Cressi Big Eyes, and snorkal

My lds will have it in next week, so i am very happy with the service over the holiday period here.

My set-up is almost complete apart from some fins, i am thinking of the Cressi reactions ? and some other small items like light, flag, psd, gear bag, catch bag, and a tank.

Do you think this set-up will give me the years of enjoyment and reliability i am hoping for?

Thanks for the advice given on regs and stuff, it was a great help, also the tips on ease of servicing and warranties.

I am counting down the days to my OWC course, 12 days and it couldn't come sooner

i think you got a very nice set-up, i have the same BCD, so if it fits you right i will assure you that you will love it because i do.

Great BC - love mine, but cheap computer. Were you a typical customer who didn't want to spend more than needed...?? The Oceanic computers are great as is the company, but look at the comparisons...

For less than $50 more probly, get the 180 with backlight, computer interface, etc.

Yep, almost the same as mine, except I got Wolf BC and VT3 comp. That stuff will look after you for ages as long as you look after it!

Am I the only one who doesn't like the 100? I like Oceanic computers - dive with two, and that's a nice better-nothing pdc, but the 180 has several other features worth the $50 difference, I think....??
