Well, I dove with my combination of insulated long underwear, sweats and fleece and don't feel to good about it. I stayed reasonably warm, but air did not vent too readily, and I think it was the underwear's fault. Somehow if felt as though the air was not migrating to my shoulder, eventhough I made that the highest point. I dive with regular drysuit underwear next.

Has anyone used Henderson's Duratex Dryglove? Comments?

Thanks for all your replies.

Geeze, with a title like that I thought I was going to have a little fun about pointing out that you're supposed to ask those questions BEFORE ya buy a suit.
Undies... where to start...
If you want to go DIY with the undies, polypropylene (same stuff milk jugs are made of) gives several fabric options, from thin woven material to heavy fleece. It's hydrophobic; doesn't soak water up. Once you get wet (from sweat) you get chilled a lot faster.
Here's a recent thread on the undies topic: http://www.scubaboard.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=40839

Polartec is made out of polypropelyene, btw

Here's a Google page on the stuff if you want to check out pictures: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=military+polypropylene+underwear&spell=1

Duratex Dryglove?
How about some Kevlar instead? http://comdive.com/endurotech.htm
