Reidster: I am like you in that we did GC on a cruise 4 years ago before hubby was certified. We did the stingray city snorkel trip which was great. It was right after Steve Irwin (Aussie) died by a stingray and people were nervous including my hubby. The tour operator said it was the same price whether he stayed on the boat or got in the water. So he got in the water. We got to feed them squid and you should have seen the mile-wide grin on his face. He loved it. But we won't pay now to do it as a 12-ft dive. Especially when we can't feed them.

But since we did that and went around the town I think we'll just stay put this time. Maybe...do the botanical gardens.

We are traveling with another couple. We got certified 6 years ago together and ever since, we go somewhere once year together. We are staying in a two bedroom suite. We will do the stingray city dive - I am photographer and want to get some nice shots! I also want to do the Kittiwake dive- i don't think my wife will do it though-we'll see about our fiends. I'm also looking forward to the shore diving! Can't wait!
