Ok Had to Post somewhere just book our second trip to Bonaire.

March 9-16

Staying/diving with Wannadive. Any comments never stayed or dove with them. It's already booked and I'm pretty adventurous. Looking for smaller less of a number feel.

The guys at wannadive are awesome. Bart and Bob run a great operation and they will bend over backwards for you. I have never stayed at the wannadive hut, we usually stay at Eden Beach where the main shop is located. Not sure which one you are staying at. But we had a great time with them. Plenty of tanks at any time of the day and they are more than eager to help you with whatever diving you plan to do. I wanted to do some more adventurous diving last time I was there. Bob arranged for us to cut through a local's backyard to dive the Cooper's Barge. Bart drew some great maps for us to shore dive Lac Cai on the wild side. I can't say enough good things about these guys. PM me if you want more details or if you have any specific questions.

I don't know where or precisely when we're going, but I talked to J. the other day (she's in the States visiting), and she seemed to be all for spending a week in Bonaire on her summer vacation (she's a teacher in Tokyo). It looks like I'll finally get to sample water with warmth and visibility...

You'll love the Wannadive crew! Tons of fun, they are, and a wealth of info so just ask any ?s you might have. If you are staying at the Hut, Mika will surely take good care of you. If they (Bart, Bob, or Mika) set up a party night(rum punch party on Thursday during high season), definitely attend! If you want to throw Bart for a loop, give him a big hug the first time you meet him and say "Special delivery from 'Smack'!". Guaranteed to get a smile! He'll know who you mean. :) Wish I was going.

Well Dive Dive Dive we have an overlap. We will be there March 12-19 at Eden Beach. I have ditto what everyone says about Bart and Bert, a joy to dive with. To make it even more interesting I am also a bubblehead, USS Daniel Boone 1972-78.

Eat your heart out Smack.

It's been a long time since I stayed at the Hut, it had just opened when I was there. It's nothing fancy but clean and in a quiet area, a perfect place for the less fancy of us. One bit of info that you may find useful, unless things have changed, the rooms do NOT have hot water. It fairly common on Bonaire and not as big of a problem as you might think. The ground water (the water mains are only a few inches under the ground) is always fairly warm so there is no real need for it the be heated. The best time for a "hot" shower is later afternoon......the solar water heater has gotten the ground about as hot as it's going to get.
The rest have pretty much summed up Bart and Bob. No nicer guys runninng a dive op anywhere.

Hi Cecil

We will be at Captain Don's across your dates, so if you fancy a dive let us know.

Regards

Brian
