Finally made the move out to Nanaimo after what seems like an eternity. Long road to get out here from Calgary, that involved driving to the east coast, back out through the US, brief stop over in Calgary for a day, Penticton for a while, then finally as of last week I got to the island, took 8-9 months, but I finally did it.
Anyways being new to the area I am looking to hook up with some divers, rec, tech you name it, just want to get back in the water and meet some new buddies etc., to go diving with. If anyone is interested in taking a new to the area diver out, and doesn't mind me tagging along, please let me know, send me a pm. I'm free to go diving anytime during the day or night, as I work overseas and am currently on my rostered leave. Been out a few times on my own to a few local spots but it just doesn't have the same appeal as diving with good buddies and people who know the area.
