Dive Boat Captain
A full-time and a part time position is available. The captain is responsible to provide a safe and fun experience for all divers. Maintain the dive schedule by ensuring engine pre-checks and maintenance are complete. Conduct manifest role call and safety briefing. Setting divers on correct coordinates for best dive experience. Ensure Coast Guard regulations and industry safety measures are in place.
Qualifications: Possess a 50-ton captain’s license and Marine Radio Operators Permit.
PADI Instructor
A full-time and a part time position is available. As an Instructor for JDC your responsibilities include teaching to agency and Jupiter Dive Center standards, dive guiding and mating on daily dives, providing a great and safe underwater experience.
Qualifications: Actively certified as PADI INSTRUCTOR and willing to crossover to SDI.
Crew Positions Requirements: Initial and random drug testing. Drift Diving boat experience preferred
Retail Sales Associate
We are looking for a Scuba Diving professional with customer service experience. We will train you for the retail requirements needed to work at Jupiter Dive Center. Marketing and Social media a plus. You will learn to complete visual inspections of tanks, sell and stock inventory, manage payments, sell/ support classes, manage reservations and keep the store clean. This position will start training immediately upon being hired. Training days will vary.
Qualifications: Positive attitude. Customer service experience. Point of sales/ computer experience. Must be able to lift tanks. Additional responsibilities as needed.
Opportunity for additional hours if you are an active Dive Master and or Instructor.
Retail Positions Requirements: Initial and random drug testing. 40-hour workweek including weekends
Jupiter Dive Center is a full-service dive center with 2 dive boats on location. We sell Scubapro equipment. We offer boat charters daily and instruction.
