Actually I'm looking at rescheduling for June 13-19. If we arrive on the 12, then 13th would be our first boat dive. I just looked at the CruisePortInsider.com - Cozumel Cruise Ship Schedule - 2013 and see that the 13th there are 3 boats, one with 5400...but the remainder of the week looks better.

You're staying south of town. I don't find that the cruise ships impact the diving at all, they just make town crowded during the day.

You won't even notice the boat people at BA! (Unless they bring a load on the 1:00pm boat to the restaurant for lunch).

We were boat people in Cozumel last year (and will be again in December- I'm reading along on this thread thinking about planning a real trip- it's just hard to do because there are too many choices and they are all really expensive compared to a cruise) and we had 5 ships in town that day, including one of the giant royal carribean ones. We went snorkeling at Money Bar and the place was deserted. I think most cruise ship people just go to the all inclusive beaches. I wouldn't let it worry you.

My friend and I will be there 6/21 - 6/27, staying at Hotel Cozumel and diving with them (not sure who handles their diving, it's right across the street.) It will be our 2nd time to Coz... really excited about this trip, by far my favorite location. I dare say, cruising around the island on mopeds is almost as fun as the diving

That would be Dive Paradise. Be careful on those mopeds, they're far more dangerous than diving!

Last night +1 and I decided I was grumpy, grouchy, and just not pleasant to be around. The only fix is a trip to Cozumel. So we are booked for June 16-20. We are staying at Vista Del Mar and diving with Aldora. See y'all on Santa Rosa Wall.
