Can someone explain the difference b/t a jumpsuit and a wetsuit? I can't tell if it's just semantics or if they are 2 different types of suits. Thanks!

A jumpsuit is a full body wetsuit. Wetsuits also come in other forms..

farmer johns are sleeveless, full leg designs.

shorties generally have thigh length legs and short sleeves

jackets have full sleeves and either no legs or short legs

I'm not a big fan of jumpsuits... in very cold water (38 to 60F), I wear a 6.5mm farmer john with a jacket over it. In water above 60 (warmest I've dived in is 75F), I just wear the 6.5mm farmer john and am very comfortable. Below 55 I'll wear a hood, and I always wear gloves of some kind.

When doing strenuous activity (non-diving) in water colder than 60 (such as caving in 45F water), I'll wear a 3mm farmer john under my oversuit.
