July 4th, @ Cape Ann anyone?

Anyone up for some diving on July 4th? I'm thinking Cape Ann. If anyone's got a pot and a portable stove, we could (hopefully) catch lunch & have us a little cookout on the spot.

Let me see what my work schedule is going to be for this week. I go back to work tuesday morning ...... considered just staying in mexico.. The weather was great (until the last day) and the diving was even better. Back to the subject though I don't know what the work sched. will be but odds are I will have the day off....

We will see though. (Doder def. has the day off since she is waiting to start her new job.)

Sooo we will be on CAD boat Thurs hoping to get a few bugs for the party. Hopefully I can get to dive with some NELD divers this year.

I do have one of those 32 Qt pots with a burner for bugs. Maybe the next time you get together I can make it.

I may be up for it. I'm having a stretch of craziness at work that ends the 3rd, so I may be too tired to dive. Though I may be up for a BBQ or snorkel... I'll have to play it by ear.

I don't have a grill, but what areas have fire pits? Or even a strategically used turkey pan + charcoal can do the trick. Feel free to PM me if you want to coordinate more.

Dave, glad you guys had fun in Mexico. NC was lots of fun. Beautiful weather, calm seas, great wrecks, and lots of sharks (eventually). Hopefully you guys can make it. Weather looks good so far, if a little warm.

livestodive, the day will come. Hmm... I'll have to check with the NELD membership comittee whether us using your pot qualifies you for NELD membership. You could make it in sooner than you think!

Oops! Hadn't checked the membership list. I remember that thread, actually, now that you mention it... Just that from your earlier post it sounded like you hadn't dove with NELD before... Oh well. We could still induct your pot into the club!

Looks like Lola and I are going to be able to make it! (There is still the uncertainity factor of work though.) I have to work on the 5th so we will not be able to stay extremely late.
