July 29th and 30th Ocean City MD

Some of my girlfriends from work are putting together a trip to Ocean City Maryland the weekend of July 29th -31st and have asked me to go along.

I was just wondering if there was anyone in this area who could show me some dive spots - possibly shore as I'm trying to be thrifty - while I was up there.

I hate to waste a trip to the ocean.

Not much shore diving here though some have said they kayak out to the jetty and spearfish, scuba and freedive. You could ask Pirate Scuba, our LDS about any they know of. The local charters are OC Diver and Surface Interval. I have been on the SI and did enjoy it, FWIW.

Please post a report after yopur trip. I'll be out of the country that weekend but am interested to know how it turned out. I'd like to try the kayak thing sometime. I know the vis isn't very good just off the beaches here though!

Hi! I'll be in Ocean City, MD on vacation with my family but won't get there until friday night (30th). If you are interested in trying a shore/kayak dive on the 31st that sounds fun. I'm not interested in spending the money on a charter dive. I would just need to rent a tank and maybe a kayak. Let me know.. Francine
