Well, it looks like my itinerary is set. I will be visiting the Seattle area on family business the second week of July and REALLY hope to be getting in some local diving at the same time. The only issues are that 1. I need a buddy, 2. I can only dive mid week, Wednesday and Thursday, July 12 & 13.
I will be staying during the week in Seattle, half way between Edmounds and Alki, so they look like obvious choices, especially since this will be my first time diving in the Puget Sound.
I am a dry suit diver, with most of my dives being in Lake Michigan and the local quarries, but also some warm water trips to Key Largo and Cozumel.
I would love to get in at least a couple of dives in each day, more if possible, but I realize being in the middle of the week, it might be pretty tough to find a buddy with that much time on their hands. I will work around anybody's schedule. Afternoon's would be fine, but I have only very limited night dive experience. Any one who dives with me at night will figure that one out pretty fast!
I am truely looking forward to this opportunity. I have been lurking, and occasionally communicating in this forum for some time now and have been very impressed with what I have heard, not to mention the people here.
Thanks!
