Hey does anybody know if there are any cool things to see in the Jordan Harbour, Niagara? I wanted to go out there this weekend and try to see what I can see. Something near by would be good too, I just don't feel like going down to Welland this weekend.

You might wear a biohazard suit ;) ... twenty mile creek empties into her:

"Water quality is considered to be poor, but its condition is gradually improving. Pollution influxes from agricultural pesticides and fertilizers along with contaminants from faulty residential septic tank systems and sedimentation are the main pollution sources affecting the water quality of the Twenty Mile Creek." --- Fishing at Jordan Harbour

But post back with what you find! Besides e.coli :) .. looks like a chance to see some good size fishies.

ew that is gross lol guess I am not diving there lol

Thanks for the heads up, good chance I would have just taken a shot and dove it without knowing

I dive with Dan's dive shop on the Wednesday night dives they do, just wanted to get more than 1 a week in sometimes. I'll take a look at them!

some shallow shore dive sites you might check out could be the old canal basically off the end of Gary St in Port Dalhousie. There is also the wreck of Confederation park in Hamilton Google Maps

These sites are best done early season when the water is colder as vis gets bad as the water warms. there is not tons to see but a little history at both sites.

If I were you I would make the drive to the Niagara River The upper river has lots of diving. The lower river has some nice spots as well.

I have a group diving the upper Niagara on June 19th if you want to join us. Thinking Thompson hole and then another drift

I dove navy hall today, I went down the first time with by buddies, and everything went great, the second time they took me a bit further. I got carried away by the current so I surfaced at the marina with the jet boats and walked back lol fun dive! I really liked it

Are there any places nearby that have both decent (non toxic) diving? When I dive my girlfriend brings friends and they all hang out, it would be a fun day if we an chill on a beach after I finish the dive :D
