Join us tonight August 12th, at La Siesta Restaurant on Midlothian Turnpike. Our guest speakers will be Jeff Hewlett and Doug Newton. They will discuss their personal experiences with decompression sickness (DCS). Decompression sickness affects 1,000 U.S. scuba divers each year. Included will be the events that led up to their DCS, their personal experiences during their treatments, and how they are now. Some things they had to learn on their own. They will share with the audience what the medical professionals did not know about diving-related injuries and how to be a self-advocate. Socializing begins at 6:00 p.m. and the meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. We look forward to seeing you there!

Feel free to stop by any of our monthly meetings. Introduce yourself, meet fellow divers, have dinner, and find out what we are all about. Also, be sure to check out our membership page for more information about joining the Richmond Dive Club. We hope to see you soon!

Is it just me, or do you always wait until the day of to post these notifications? Both this one and the last one I saw sounded like really great functions, but both were too "last minute" for me to work it out...

Hope it goes well though, wish I was there.

I agree that it should be posted earlier. Look forward to seeing you at one of the upcoming meetings.
All the best,
Jim
