If you think education is expensive consider ignorance.
Go to the school in LA and get trained. Then go to work.
Short cuts usually result in a short life in diving.

Thats where I went to Commercial Diving School
Louisiana Technical College
Young Memorial Campus
Morgan City, LA

depends on your level of training i would imagine. guy i used to work for paid us 15 dollars an hour under water. i quit when i found an urchin diving job. i make alot more money then i did as a commercial diver , and im my own boss.

I have only worked for two different inland company's here in canada and here were my pay rates
Shop - 14$ p/h
Dive Site 17.50$ p/h
In water 22.50 p/h

Currently i am getting 20$ p/h flat rate

it's pretty good when your working alot, but due to bad weather we havnt been able to get out for 3 days now. money does get tight during the winters here things slow down alot.
