That's one of those jobs for which a person has already been picked. They write the parameters/requirements around the person's profile to eliminate competition.

The requirement to have a valid FL drivers liscense is too restrictive. You only have to have a valid FL drivers liscense after you get a job in FL. The state allows 30 days after beginning work to get the liscense and also liscense your vehicle. The requirement should be either changed by the school and/or ignored by any applicant.

I got an offer from a commercial diving company, I have worked for them part time since 1999. I have the chance to expand the division and have more control over my career than would be possible working for a governmental organization.

I will always be a big supporter of the FSU program!!

I am missing the DM qualification part. Or else I would consider it. Looking to get a job where I am more active.
