Hello everyone.
I just found this website as I was looking for places to post a job opening in Kansas City KS. We are in need of a Certified Diver to dive and clean the aquariums here at T-REX restaurant in the Legends outlet area. The position is part time (about 20 hours a week) mornings as well as weekends are required. Compensation is relative to experience.
Duties include:
Working along side the Curator in the care of all aquatic life.
Diving the exhibits to clean aquariums, fix, or move livestock.
Conduct water quality testing using a colorimeter
Help maintain all life support systems which include, protein skimmers, fluidized beds, bio towers, pumps etc.
Report all isues to Curator in written and verbal formats.
Conduct educational tours for kids groups ages 4+
Certifications preferred:
Open water Dive certfication
Applicants that are Dive certified will be considered first.
Current CPR certification is a plus but will be provided in job training
