Actually they told me I can ship the ADV back to JJ and they would try to make it work, however with the caveat that if threads are damaged, ADV needs to be replaced.
I was aware that threads are damaged and I didn’t want to waste so much time, plus having the hassle of international shipping back and forth. So I got a new ADV.
They probably realized that I am at more on the ape side of the evolution scale, so they send it with two swivels already connected to it.
