I bought one of Jim Sheldon's Kidde 2.0cfm conversion compressors and man what a great setup. One of the smoothest transactions I can remember. Jim set up every detail of the shipping and it arrived crated above and beyond what was needed to protect the unit. It was all preped and ready to go for my application when I got it....I tested it by filling 2 48cu.in. airgun tanks. I filled one to 3,000psi and the other to 3,500psi....The compressor fills perfect for my Airgun tanks so I can fill straight from the unit or from the SCBA in the field....Great setup Jim....It is humming like a champ...Not as loud as I thought it was going to be which is good....Thanks again for all of your help...I really appreciate your knowledge of these machines and the time you took to go over everything once the compressor arrived.....I wanted to share this so that you guys would have a reputable source if you should choose to get into compressors for your own use or for commercial use...
Thanks
Jeff

AFAIK Jim is retired, has been for at least 5 years. I had some minimal correspondence with him a few years ago, but for the life of me can't find it.

I’ve been considering a small compressor for personal use too, and your feedback is super helpful. Glad to hear it's running smoothly and not too loud that’s a big plus!

Jim Is/was @frogman62 (https://scubaboard.com/community/members/frogman62.95652/)

No idea why there's not data on his profile about last-seen/etc. HIs last post is from over 3 years ago.

His last post has a phone number, might be worth trying...
