Thank you for sharing this! It's amazing she survived as long as she did. We had a similiar event happen with a whaleshark and one of the researchers from the SRI. It took over an hour to get all the netting off an adult whaleshark that had embedded into its flesh around the pectoral fin very deeply. What was amazing is that the whaleshark responded to the assistance and actually cooperated as he cut the netting away. Sharks are amazing and definitely need all the protection they can get!
