How do I get "my" size? I know I have a hard time getting pants and shirts and shoes? Well, I can order them all day online, just not locally. So how do I know what size to get? I don't really have a LDS here that carries the Jets... Ideas?

Michael

I found some very good sizing info on Kidspot's scuba site :

Oops. Just noticed this is in the DIR forum ... hope I don't burn in hell for posting here ;-)

if it helps here's the data I've collected so far on Jet fin sizing ...

http://www.kidspot.org/personal/scuba/#bootsizes

Size 10 rockboots seem to work best with Turtles.

Mwhities - I'd recommend looking for a larger boot - I wear size 13 and found that the HighTide Ranger boot (full lug sole) fits pretty well in the XXL jets - their size 15/16 would probably be an exact match.

It's quite difficult to find a wet boot that's got a thick enough sole for XXL Jets unfortunately .. what was ScubaPro thinking when they skipped over sizes 11-14???

P.S. Riguerin - looks like we posted over top each other lol

I'm pretty sure Kidspot had taken fundies, so a referfence to his site should be safe

So, why is this thread in the DIR forum? Seems like a fin problem...
But the DIR solution is to have Turbosoles in which case your XL Jets would work fine...

No problem Milo...
I see the thread still hasnt moved tho..I've saw this a few times in this forum...For example, someone will have a question about a Halcyon wing and throw it up in here..But it should be in the BCD forum..Just because its a Halcyon backplate and wing, dont make it a DIR issue...

I gave up on Rock Boots totally. The brand new boots that came with my DUI sit in my closet gathering dust. The solution that I use, which I learned from a DIR diver in CA, was to get some hard sole 3 mil boots that fit over my drysuit socks. These also serve to squeeze the air out of my feet while contributing only a small amount of buoyancy from the boot's neoprene. These fit into my Jets, while the Rock Boots made for my size foot can't come close.
