FYI
I know this thread is old, but thought that I'd add some info.
The XL fin is a TOTALLY different fin than the other sizes. The blade is both longer and wider, and allows for a much different stroke than the smaller fins.
Just to compare, the XL is about 4 inches longer (rough approximation here).
