Margaret, Merry and I went back to the Redondo Barge this afternoon to try our luck again. The wind chop made the surface a little rougher than yesterday and visibility was down, but we had a great time. I spent most of the dive freeing egg yolk jellies trapped on the barge while Merry got some incredible photos of an Acanthodoris rhodoceras. Margaret was smarter than we were. She spent her time in the sand, where she had less backscatter to deal with. Her photos look like they were shot on a different day.

Very cool Phil. Dig the Jelly w/ Gorgonian shot, as well as your 5th & 10th. Will Merry be posting her Acanthodoris rhodoceras pics?

Wow :amazed: Those shots of the Acanthodoris rhodoceras are stunning.

Saw about half a dozen egg yolk jellies at vets last night. Pretty neat creatures.
