I have a question. I'm makeing my first canister light, why dont' you JB weld the end cap, after the light is complete, I can't think of a reason to remove the end. Thanks for any help....

Are you talking about the canister itself or the head unit (Mag Lite)?

Head UnitFor a couple of reasons.

(1) Incase you ever want to put any kind of switch in.
(2) if the cable ever breaks it is harder to replace after it is JB Welded.
(3) You can clean the head out.

if non of these things matter to you, you can do It I have done it before.
