Hi Ryan, we booked directly with Avalon through their email inquiry. They're very quick to respond 7 days a week and very thorough. When it came time to pay, they sent an invoice to be paid online securely. They also recommended the Bay of Pigs casa and dive guide.

We were on their email list for specials and last mid-July we received their time-limited offer of "Buy 3, get one free". We had 2 weeks to get 4 of us together and it had to be completed by the end of September last year, and we ended up getting 7 of us together within that 2 weeks departing in mid-September and they honoured 25% off for each of us.

You can visit the Avalon website as well as sign up for special offers here. Maybe they'll have more special offers: Cuba Diving. Best Scuba Diving in Cuba and the Caribbean

That was $2600 CDN. It is reasonable for 10 days all expenses in. However, I can easily book 10 days all inclusive, all diving, all expenses in (albeit without massive transfers) for $1200 CDN anywhere else in Cuba from Toronto. That's what I'm comparing the price to.

There is a dive shop that runs groups flying out from Toronto for the straight week Friday to Friday each year or so. Unfortunately, IIRC, with Avalon's new prices, their price went up to $3300 CDN all in per person or something like that for their last trip. I'm not sure if they get many Americans on their trips or not. This is a link to Aquarius' image gallery from their Jardines trips: Image Gallery | Aquarius Scuba

I hope your dream comes true! :)

Thanks so much, Ayisha, for taking the time to reply so comprehensively. I hope so, too! I believe it's just a matter of time...
