If he really "had a medical history of heart failure"...?!

Japanese diver dies off Olango Island | Sun.Star
A 64-YEAR-OLD Japanese national died during a scuba diving session in the waters off Olango Island, Lapu-Lapu City at past 1 p.m. Monday, July 27.Kenichi Nakaizumi, 64, a professional diving instructor from Yamaguchi, Japan, no longer responded when a medical team from the Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation (ERUF) tried to revive him.
Based on the identification cards gathered by police, Nakaizumi was a professional diving instructor of Confédération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques (World Confederation of Underwater Activities) or CMAS.
He temporarily stayed at La Place Guesthouse in Barangay Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City.
PO2 Marven Saraum, investigator of the case, said Nakaizumi went scuba diving with a friend, Dino Ompad, operation manager of Scuba Star in Sitio Buyong, Maribago.
According to Ompad, he was still at sea when one of the boatmen called him that the victim, who was already on the boat that time, had difficulty breathing.

There were three persons assigned to operate the boat and a woman who works at the place where Nakaizumi was staying.
The boat was immediately docked at Parker Beach in Marigondon, where ERUF personnel gave Nakaizumi give medical treatment. But it was too late.
Saraum said Nakaizumi was brought to Mactan Doctor’s Hospital, where Dr. Junmay Dacal, the attending physician, declared him dead on arrival.
He said the initial findings stated that the Japanese national had a heart attack.
Police investigators recovered some medicines from Nakaizumi’s room, which they believed the victim had been taking for a long time.
Saraum said Nakaizumi also had a medical history of heart failure.
The victim’s body was brought to Cosmopolitan Funeral Homes in Barangay Pajo, Lapu-Lapu City for autopsy.
