Japan 21st-28th August

Hi,

is there any good diving in Japan?
Where can/should I go in end of August?
I am on a business trip for some days, but could definitely squeeze in 1-2 days of diving.

What part of Japan are you headed to? Japan-Diver on here may be able to steer you in the right direction for mainland ops.

Will depend on where you are the best diving in Japan is the southern islands (2 hr 45 minutes flight from Tokyo)- late August is the middle of our best season although you have to watch for typhoons a bit - there is also some good diving around the Izu area outside of Tokyo but limited support for diving in English up there. If you are over here its definitely worth the flight south to see us in Okinawa. Water temps that time of year will be about 28-30C and viz up around 40m or so.
