... the next computer I am going to buy (pending the thing working out OK for one of my dive instructors). Probably going to be my last computer as well.

The OSTC MK2: HW

The Display is amazing. The amount of features is boggling. The price is only €180 more than a Suunto Vytec DS (which is lacking the OLED display and the customisation and the future proofing with trimix, Oxygen sensing and what have you)

Now... where do I find €680 spare...

It has a bigger brother, the DR5 (HW), but the extra €880 for diving deeper than 130m (when I have never been deeper than 43m and have limited ambitions for Trimix in the near future) is not worthwhile for me.

Nice...can you check your SB PMs' on it at 10M??

Cool.........kinda looks like the Liquidvision computers.

I thought that was what the Ipod Touch in the underwater case was for. That, and listening to AC/DC while hanging on the shallow deco stops.

I've seen an x1 and the OSTC in the flesh. The OSTC has a bigger display and real buttons. I am not going to buy a dive computer without OLED display ever again, if I can help it.
