So I guess a customary back brief is in order. I am an active duty servicemember who is currently getting medically retired from service due to injuries sustained during my last deployment. I am in the process of getting my military schools transfered over to civilian certifications. I have always wanted to get into diving so I figured I would take the plunge. I have been trolling on this site for a while and finally figured I would open up an account.

I dont plan on posting much as i tend to do gobs of research, but if I end up with a question I can imagine the ninjas on here can address it.

In my search for stimulation sometimes trolling doesn't do it for me. There are a lot of informative online scuba magazines that are worth a look. I enjoy X-ray, Undercurrent and LP's own Aquaviews. A lot of good reading that'll have you jumping straight into the deep end.
