I'm a Fish!
I went to my drysuit class tonight. I've been so psyched about it. We did the classroom stuff then start trying on suits before going to the pool. Well guess what.....

NOTHING FITS. I tried on like 6 suits, Either the wrists or the neck or both are too big. A lot too big. I was going to just wear one with my swimsuit and plan on getting wet, but they were really big. It really sucks. Little pencil neck. I probably have to wait til I get my own suit in the spring to do the class.

I'm at home drinking beer(s) now. Poor, poor, pitiful me!

:( :( :(

Juls don't fret. Drink enough beer, and that suit will fit.
;)

how much beer would I have to drink exactly, for the suit to fit.....:boozer: :boozer: :boozer:

Julie,

We'll talk on Sunday, and you might think twice about even needing a drysuit.

I am in the very beginnings of my technical path. I plan on eventually doing deco dives in the Great Lakes. I will really like having a drysuit for that.

I was going to get my equipment - drysuit, BP/Wing/Harness, Steel Tanks, and start diving with that regularly so that I can get very comfortable with the set up. I am fine diving wet however. In fact I will be diving in a 7mm suit Sunday.

That will be a good thing to discuss though!

Just enough to make me as Purdy as U.P.

Ahh... never mind nobody could drink that much and still dive

Every time I used a rental drysuit the next seal flooded. A lot. I mean, it was a wetsuit.

I bought my own however, with seals that fit & I'm a happy girl.

I can't remember where I saw it but someone had used the leg or sleeve of an old wetsuit coated with aqua seal as a collar to make their neck a little thicker. Just a thought.
