DA Aquamaster once bubbled...
...A black skirt ages well, looks clean even when it isn't and eliminates all those distracting reflection that occur with a clear skirt when near the surface.

Reading this my mind was saying....

"Second to the little black dress, the little black skirt is versatile, ages well, looks clean..."

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I like clear skirts, prefer the extra light/less claustrophobic feeling. I finally bought a new one after about 12 years, old one didn't yellow but skirt was getting a little stiffer and didn't seal well. I'm religous about keeping it in a mask box so it can't fraternize with the rubber stuff.

1. Washing powder and a brush to remove the dirt.
2. A cloric dissolve to remove the yellow color.
best regards

Well, clear skirts look beatufull on a girl's face before dive. But during the dive more snot comes out of your nose, and - think about it - how does it look after the dive

I once heard that chemicals in neoprene will change the color of silicone a lot faster than it's supposed to....so i keep it away from any neoprene products and i do not use the neoprene slap strap.

My SeaCure mouth peice was in contact with my boot for like three days, and now it has this yellowish spot to it. kind of nasty if you think about it.

I was told that vinager will do the job cleaning it up...but i haven't tried.

Which is why one of the second things I was taught was to blow my nose immediately after I surface! Even Ursula Andress wouldn't look too appetizing with a bunch of snot hanging from her nostrils! LOL

:D

Excuse me, it's not "snot"... it's a freshwater jellyfish!

As in "pardon me, can you pass the Grey Poupon Mustard? And BTW, you have a freshwater jellyfish..."

At least we can make it sound good, even if we look less than feminine, right? ;)
