I just dove my 2007 isotherm a couple days ago. There was a shipping problem, so it came without the hood and lube. I'll get the hood and lube today.
Being a 2005 isotherm user, I had some surprises:
1) The TIZIP leaked - A LOT. This was susprising. But I had no instructions and no lube, so fearing the same warning against silicone (2005 model), I didn't lube it. I hope the lube will fix this. But it means another quarry trip to verify before I head off to Australia.
2) The neck seal is a lot tighter. I had a rash on my neck after a couple hours in it.
3) It's easier to get in an out of thanks to the stretchy panels.
I like the sapphire material. The titanium material in the 2005 model seems to be just as nice. Both styles add to comfort significantly. The sapphire didn't seem to be an improvement.
The neck seal is tapered somewhat like a drysuit. Is it intended to be trimmed to loosen up a bit for a better fit?
What's the proper TIZIP lube procedure?
thanks
