Hi all,

We are planning to offer seal dive charters this season leaving from Rye. Charters will be limited to 4 divers and we will run two trips a day during the peak season. We are setting up a new website and charters can be reserved via PayPal on the website once it is active.

We will also be bringing the boat to other locations, i.e., Lake Champlain, Thousand Islands (St. Lawrence Seaway), Newfound Lake, Lake Winnepesaukee, etc. Everything will be on the website and available to reserve from there.

We will also be offering training through SDI/TDI, IANTD, and SSI from entry-level through the technical instructor level(including mixed-gas rebreathers) and gas fills, equipment from Salvo, Silent Submersion, OMS, Sea Pearls, XS Scuba, and Silent Diving Systems.

We look forward to sharing more info as we progress. feel free to email or PM me with any questions.

Thanks,

Capt. Mike

that's great news! I have yet to dive with you but have heard nothing but good things from John Chaplain and others. I would be very interested in St. Lawrence Seaway charters. Money's tight this year for charters and I have little vacation days as started a new job but I can get away for long weekend to St. Lawrence Seaway this year. There is a camp site next to launch can stay on or just sleep in my Honda Element w/ air mattress. Love diving the wrecks there (Gaskin), shore dives. Pls. keep us posted or by PM

See You guys out there!
We go out to the isles almost every weekend.
Have you ever dove the old large anchor?
Hey reefseal you still diving in the winter?
I would love to get out and find some more old bottles ;-)
Without the cops and coastgaurd this time hehe!

As a VT Lake Champlain diver who does a regular Shoals trip every summer with my LDS That is good news on both accounts. I would recommend contacting Waterfront Dive Center (Ask for Joe [DM/Inst.] or Jonathan [big kahuna]) and Victory Sports as they are the two bigger dive shops on Lake Champlain. I know WFD is in the process of getting there 2009 charter schedule together. look forward to getting more info as it becomes available. Good luck.

Is this Capt. Mike formerly of the Seeker?

In any case, glad to see there will be a new charter option up there.

Reefseal, there are a few great camp sites up at the River. Let me know if you're interested in diving the Vickery. I have access to a boat and it's a great dive.

Yep, on a smaller scale with no investors this time. Learned my lesson the hard way I'm afraid.

I won't be fielding any questions on the old operation.....
