BBC News - Whitefield diver dies on Isle of Man
A diver who fell ill after he resurfaced from the sea off the Isle of Man has died, police said.
Eric Waburton, 62, from Whitefield in Greater Manchester, had been diving near Sugarloaf Rocks at about 16:00 BST on Friday when he came to the surface.
He was given first aid by divers and staff from Port St Mary Harbour until paramedics arrived, but he died.
Mr Waburton had been on a diving trip with friends. Police said the coroner has been notified about his death.
