The second one...I wonder what made those 'knobs' on the brain coral? I've never seen anything close to that.

Great job....And thank you! I just bought Beast a used C-3040 and PT-10. He was pretty sure he didn't want the hassle of a strobe and after seeing your photos and those of a couple others, he's decided "I don't need no steenkin' strobe!" So thank you....you just saved me a wad on greenbacks! LOL
 
I would be interested to know the settings you generally use, as I have the same setup.

That's not really an easy question to answer. It depends on the situation. I use a different setting for each shot.
