Tiburon and Sky can also set you up with private dive guides. Best to have approval over who the private DM is. There are some guides I would consider accidents waiting to happen.

So glad you had a blast. Great experience for you and your kids to dive safely and enjoyably. Thanks for giving us the follow-up. Since we don't know the details, a diver dying could mean one of many causes, some unrelated to the actual dive. So sorry for that family.Thank you for your advice. We returned yesterday from the Galapagos. We did day diving trips (11 dives total) from Santa Cruz and had a blast- and were safe. We followed your advice and did NOT dive wolf/ Darwin. On the day we were diving off Santa Cruz there was a death of a diver on the wolf and Darwin live a board. So glad we were not there! Thanks for the advice.
