Is toilet a bad word....

Ok.. this is definitely not diving related, but since you all are the wisest folks on the web thought you could help. I want a sign (colorful, pretty...) for my downstairs restroom that says "banos" (spanish for bathroom, you know!)...

Now just having spent a week in mexico you would have thought I could have come up with something like that but nope... and I can't seem to find one on the web although I know it must exist.

I would ask in the shops... and they would look at me like I was crazy... Lady....is toilet! no no... want "mi casa si casa" for house?? No, I want banos... No lady... is not good for house.... no no

so I have just returned from Mexico without my sign can't you please help me find a sign??? Thanks so much!

I might be so bold as to suggest hitting up Michaels craft store and perhaps just make one.. or for a nominal fee my wife might be persuaded, she's quite crafty.

it is a bad word if you spell it wrong,

make sure that they put the Ñ in BAÑO, the little wiggly thing on top is important.

me too... I know it needs the wiggly thing.. just too lazy to figure out how to do that on my computer... but now.... hmmmm..pray tell... what does it mean?

Start> Programs> Accessories> System Tools> Character Map.

You will find all the keystroke combos for the letters. Alt+0241 makes the ñ.

ALT + 0162 makes the ¢
