2 Albums, 1st one is from May 2004 @ Caribe Blu, 2nd one is 1/31 - 2/9 2005 @ Presidente.

2nd Album isn't quite finished, am trying to finally get a trip report done by the weekend.

Aaah. Thanks MJ. Nice pics by the way. May I ask what type of set up you are using? Still looks like I'm last to the party eh?

I've got an Olympus 5060 in an Olympus Housing... was my 1st time using the strobe on it. I just bought the Olympus strobe even though I heard it was a bit underpowered (it definitely is). Colors definintely don't "pop" on a lot of the shots.

I may be overcritical of myself but I was pretty disappointed in some of the shots I got. I took well over 500 and what was posted took a LOT of cropping and fudging with Photoshop. A few you can tell I tweaked the colors a bit much.

I do however LOVE the toadfish shots I got... colors are fantastic. I actually had to hang upside down to get those... the darn thing would keep scooting into his hole if I tried to come at him normally!

All shots were taken in "automatic" mode... I try to do my best to stay off of the reef. Pedro did scold me once and told me to work on my buoyancy... I said "What do you think I'm doing down here? That's why I'm diving". LOL

Next time down I would really like to take an underwater photo class to get a little more advanced. Depending on my girlfriend's ability to get off of work, I'm actually hoping to head down for 5 or 7 days in April since Funjet is so cheap from Chicago. We'll see if that happens or not. How does that saying go? "If wishes were fishes we'd all live in the sea"... how true! Hey! I think I'm going to add that as my signature right now...

Some of the pics were taken by my girlfriend, I bought her the Sony Cybershot DSC-T1 for X-mas (Y'know, the one with Steven Tyler in the commercial). You have to have a steady hand with that thing I tell you. It's really easy to blur the pics. She got some better shots of things than I did in certain instances. Sometimes point & shoot is the way to go.

If you want to see some gorgeous pics, check out Jlyle's report. He was down there at the same time and got some killer shots... that's what I aspire to but it will take a LOT of practice!
