Is this really how we dive our fins

I see the problem - different fin straps. That'll make you swim in circles. But if you switch the fins to different feet throughout the dive, on average you will go straight.
 
A difference without a problem!
 
So if you give your achilles a quick push, hopefully you'll notice your foot straighten out
towards the line of your leg which is where it goes naturally when you're pulling against
water, during your diving adventures, doing the flutter kick or whatever it is called today

The thing is, if you want to spend your dive frog kicking around, with your hands in your
pockets frog kicking, why are we spending the entire dive fighting the far too tight strap
forcing your foot to where it naturally is not, by applying pressure to the achilles tendon
