Do nothing. Send it back.
As soon as you do anything to improve the seal, you own the problem.
Agreed, that's what I'll do. Cheers.

Don't me take 100% sure , but I think that SANTI uses some special glue for their suits . When I was on SANTI demo days in Krnica , Croatia I have short talk with their CEO Tomasz Stachura
( meantime he measured me ) . They have some different textile fabrics than others (elastic ) and have probably differend bond energy to surface ( like POM )
Just had inflator gasket changed on my Santi suit to work with Thermovalve, my suit had Sitech valves which are narrower and gasket is internal, Thermovalve is same as Apeks so external gasket was fitted and hole made larger.
i got the suit back today and it looks like this. Is this normal and ok to use or does it need to be returned? Cheers
is it waterproof?
R..
Well... if you look at it in the big picture, being waterproof is the main thing. It doesn't look quite right to me but if it's holding water then it's doing its job.

I agree, of course it being waterproof is the main thing but when you pay $100 for something I don't think it's too much to expect a professional finish and a peeling gasket does not look professional nor tidy.
Maybe I'm being too being pedantic I don't know. Did you see photo in post #6? A large area is now coming away from the suit. It's a new suit. Would you accept it?
I guess it no longer matters as suit will be returned and re done.
