Shipwrecks of the Sunshine State

Looks like it can be purchased from http://uwex.us/shipwreckbook.htm
for $15 + $5 shipping and a few dive book retailers, but doesn't look
like Books-a-million or Amazon.com carries it.

any advice on is this a good book to order?
did you enjoy it?
any reviews?

Does it have pictures? I like to look at the pictures. :D

Mike did a great job on that book. I was just looking at it again last night trying to make plans for my dives next year....

Mike is closing out his remaining stock to begin funding the next edition.

I bought it when it premiered at DEMA in Miami 3 years ago, for $25 at the intro special. Reg was $35.

AUE Mike is the real deal, a great diver, writer and wreck researcher. I've taken him diving a few times and one of our trips he broke open the mystery identity of an old wreck we had been diving for 20+ years, 90 miles offshore from Tampa Bay. See the St Pete Times article about the triphttp://uwex.us/gwalia.htm

Grab the book while it's still available, because it takes time to create a great sequel.

Chad,

Do you happen to know anyone who'd been down on the USS Ozark off Destin? I was reading about it and wondered why I had NEVER heard of it before. It's deep. VERY deep, so I know that will keep the riff-raff out. But it is my hope to dive the wrecks of FL over the next ten years as my experience grows. A first pass around to get the interesting ones 100ft and above, then 100-200ft, then below 200ft some 6-10 years from now.

There are some magnificent ships to dive in this state. I LOVED the footage from the Araby Maid too.

Thanks,

-P
