I thought of this today at work, but I figure it most certainly has to already be popular and in use.

"Life sucks, then you dive."

If it isn't already around, I think I may make some bumperstickers or somthing simular. Would anyone buy 'em? Heh.

Oh well. :(

Cool phrase anyhow.

Is this a copywritten phrase?
I did a Google for the exact phrase, and only got this ??

But depending on the interpretation of copyright laws, maybe already copyrighted - "copywritten" is not a word.

no, no one could hold a copyright to that phrase

copyright only extends to "original works of authorship" that can be
traced to a specific author.

short phrases or slogans are not subject to copyright, since they
are not considered "original works of authorship" and their authorship
will likely be disputed.

that means you can use the phrase just like everybody else

this is not intended to be legal advice. please consult an attorney
certified to practice intellectual property law.

I think it might be cool as the Slogan at a dive shop that's on some of their promotional merchandise.

I'm not really a bumpersticker fan though. So maybe you could find otheres.
