I have dived with SC in the Bahamas and really enjoyed their shark dives with Reef Sharks and while I certainly do not mean to suggest that they are devoid of risk they are somewhat love risk. I would love to dive with other sharks as well however after the Abernathy accident where a diver had an unfortunate accident due to an altercation with a tiger shark at tiger beach I am wondering how safe of a dive this is?

LOL! its a great idea. You get to go to the same place the liveaboards go and it costs you $2000 less. As far as safety, anything can happen to anyone on any dive anywhere.
