I was looking for a Poseidon regulator when I came upon the Biscaya over the internet. I was just wondering what you all had to say about it. I just got my AOW a week ago, and feel I need to get my own gear. I have been trying to think where I plan on going with SCUBA, and I think that I wanna go deep and cold, eventually. So I want to get gear now that I am going to use for a while. I am really into underwater photography, so I definitly need sturdy d-rings and back inflatable BC, and I need a Reg that doesn't blow air infront of my face. For BC I was looking at the ones that have back bladders, high lift capacity, and the ability to have double tank mounts. I found these two BC's in the pictures. They are both Poseidon's but ones wing style in 75 pd lift and the other is a 50 pd lift. Any suggestions will be appriciated.

Thanks,
Bill

I used to dive a Poseidon Biscaya. It is a very bulky BC with a lot of inherent buoyancy.
Have just started to dive a Halcyon BP/Wing (with a Pioneer wing at the moment, but will go to Explorer for doubles later).
You can't really compare the two except for saying that the BP/Wing is in a class of its own compared to other back inflate bc's.
(Just my opinion)
