Salted water is quite beneficial for the skin and for some of the skin sicknesses such as i.e. psoriasis. For those who have it the best cure is Dead Sea - as the one that has the highest percentage of sea salt in the water.

Just don't do a whole lot of breathing there. The salt vapours will tear your lungs out!
 
i think the salt water is good for all your skin with a combp of proper moisture. i would be more concerned about making sure your sun block choice is correct for your face
